Aubrey Plew, LMSW

I’m Aubrey and I’m passionate about walking with people through their ish. I’ve always loved wading into the big feelings, listening to someone’s story and helping them sort out how to move forward and go get what they want.

After working with adolescents and young adults for almost a decade(!) I saw the need for authentic, accepting, and approachable supports in their life. I aim to be that for everyone I work with. My past students and clients would tell you that working with me means being part of a helping relationship that is built on real talk and straight-up honesty. No stuffy, clinical, emotionally detached conversation here. Only down-to-earth communication and the freedom to be yourself. You will be supported every step of the way— I will be your biggest cheerleader, advocate, motivator and accountability partner. You’ll be encouraged to step out of your comfort zone, embrace your potential, and create meaningful change in your life. If the idea of this feels overwhelming, or even impossible right now, that’s okay! I know you can do this. And if you don’t believe that yet, I will believe it for the both of us until you can believe it too!

I love coaching clients who are equally excited and nervous to work on their ish. That’s the good stuff that makes my heart sing! Whether you’re wanting to tackle imposter syndrome, navigate dating and relationships, manage stress, improve physical health and wellness, or are simply wanting overall encouragement & accountability—I got you. You already have what it takes. You’ll see!

Erica Wondra, M.S.

In high school, I worked at a summer camp and realized I wanted to spend my life talking to and helping people.  Almost every night, different camp friends would come to me to chat or for advice, and the best spot we could find was in the dining hall after-hours, using an old bucket to prop the bathroom door, so we could sit by the light instead of the shadows.  We’d bring Oreos and it became an almost nightly thing – “come sit by the light of the bathroom with me.”

In the many years since summer camp, helping people grow and develop has been a driving force for me.  A professor told me on the first day of grad school that “a good therapist is born, not made.”  Although I’ve moved away from doing therapy as a trade, this still resonates for me as friends and acquaintances (even the random Lyft driver) still regularly come to me to chat, for clarity, or even for advice.  You can even ask our founder, Aubrey, as she’s been coming to me unofficially for life coaching for years!

Seeing others grow, develop, and be proud of themselves is what fills me with joy.  If you’re ready to explore and move forward, I believe some areas I can help with are dating, relationships, career direction or changes, and building confidence.  I want to see my clients say “hi!” to that cute guy or girl, apply for that job, or call your mom after years apart.  It is time for you to pursue the things that will bring you greater happiness. Do you want to come sit in the light with me and conquer your goals?
